
The absolute best recipe I’ve made thus far!!!!
Ingredients:
1 cup Warm Water
1 cup Active Sourdough Starter
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1 1/2 tsp. Salt
3 cups of Flour
Directions:
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients together. You can do this in a stand mixer, but it’s not necessary. Once the dough is shaggy, Pour it onto the counter or surface and start to knead it.
- Knead the dough for 5 or 6 minutes. You can add extra flour to prevent it from sticking, but always a sprinkle. Do not add too much.
- Once the dough is elastic, place it in a bowl and cover with a towel. Place it in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Remove the dough from the bowl and form it into a rectangle. Roll it into a log and pinch the seams together. Place it into a loaf pan and place in a warm place for 4 hours.
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake the loaf for 40 minutes or until it is a beautiful golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the pan and allow to cool completely.
- Slice it and Enjoy!!!!
