Ingredients:

1/2 cup of Butter, Softened

1/2 cup Sugar

1 Egg

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

1/2 tsp. Almond Extract

2 cups of All Purpose Flour

1 tsp. Baking Powder

1/4 Tsp. Salt

4 oz. Raspberry Jam

4 oz. Nutella or Hazelnut Spread or Peanut Butter

Directions:

  • Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the egg, vanilla and almond extract.
  • In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. once they are mixed together, refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Line a sheet tray with parchment and make balls out of dough.
  • Press your thumb or a teaspoon onto each ball to make an indent.
  • Place a tsp of jam or nutella onto each ball.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes.
  • Allow to cool completely.

Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

4 tbsp. cream

  • Mix together until a glaze consistency. May require more cream.
  • Drizzle over each cookie!
